Hi there! We're looking for nothing bundt the best Froster/Assistant Baker to join our team of fun, motivated, and reliable people all working to bring joy to others through our delicious cakes. The more formal details about the job are below, but here's the nitty gritty...we have really high expectations - we've built a team of people who look out for each other and love coming to work every day.

We know that if we don't show up, or if we half-a$$ it, then we are letting down the people we've grown to care so much about. So, we show up. We work hard. We laugh together. The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Froster/Assistant Baker wears 2 hats.

* During Frosting shifts, you'll ensure that our cakes are of the highest quality, are consistently created for our guests, and provide superior service by meeting production demands. Following a strict proprietary recipe, NbC cake-frosting methods and food safety standards, the Froster makes our signature frosting and utilizes standardized application techniques to frost all of our delicious cakes.

* During Assistant Baker shifts, you'll partner with our Lead Baker to ensure that our cakes are of the highest quality, are consistently created for our guests, and basically, you'll do what the Lead Baker asks you to do to best assist them in following strict proprietary recipes, NbC production methods, and food safety standards.

* During both shifts, you'll embody NbC core values and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace.

Anticipated hours each week: between 20 and 30

Anticipated # of work days: 5 (6 during weeks leading up to and including major holidays)

Accountabilities/Duties As Froster:

* Follows NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieves productivity goals.

* Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes.

* Prioritizes cake pre-orders according to schedule and frosts cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.

* Ensures an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintains appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.

* Adheres to the proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains frosting and refrigeration logs.

* Monitors inventory of frosting supplies and notifies management when replenishment is required.

* Evaluates baked and frosted cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and informs management of any quality control issues.

* Cleans, sanitizes and restocks workstation, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and washes any equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.

* Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.

* Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Accountabilities/Duties as Assistant Baker:

* Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals.

* Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.

* Assists baker with accurately preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking places cake pans into a hot oven and monitors the baking process.

* Assists baker with daily baking and production flow and processes.

* Adheres to the proper packaging, labeling and storage of baked cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains baking and refrigeration logs.

* Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation and assists baker to ensure all baking supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift.

* Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.

* Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
