Description Unit Leader Position Overview
The Unit Leader serves as both a successful producer and people leader, responsible for driving personal sales performance, growing team revenue, and developing strong client relationships. This role leads a local team of Client Advisors and service professionals while building and maintaining a personal book of business.
Leveraging World's broad platform of commercial insurance, employee benefits, retirement services, personal insurance, payroll, HR outsourcing, and specialty solutions, the Unit Leader acts as a trusted advisor to clients while helping the team maximize growth opportunities.
This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader who enjoys building a book of business, developing talent, and leading a market presence.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Advisors and client service colleagues to achieve production goals and deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Drive revenue growth through personal production, including identifying, prospecting, and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to move prospects through the sales pipeline and close business.
- Partner with World leadership to execute growth strategies, expand market presence, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Hub Spot and fully leverage the platform to manage opportunities and client relationships.
- Utilize World's full platform of insurance, employee benefits, retirement, payroll, HR, and specialty solutions to provide comprehensive client solutions and drive cross-selling opportunities.
- Proven success in commercial insurance sales, business development, and new client acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop revenue-producing sales and service teams.
- Strong prospecting, relationship management, presentation, negotiation, and client engagement skills, with a track record of developing and closing new business opportunities.
- Ability to create and deliver compelling client presentations, proposals, and pitch decks tailored to client needs.
- Experience utilizing CRM platforms, preferably Hub Spot, and insurance agency management systems such as AMS
360, Applied Epic, or similar tools. - Experience with in an insurance brokerage environment is required.
- Must obtain and maintain all required insurance licenses and regulatory requirements necessary to perform the responsibilities of the role.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented leader with the ability to balance personal production and team performance.
