Fitness consultant

The Edge Fitness Clubs is seeking an energetic Opener, Fitness Consultant to welcome members, open the club, and drive membership sales. In this front-desk and sales hybrid role, you'll greet and check in members, give tours, explain membership options, and close sales while delivering outstanding service. You'll maintain a clean, safe environment, handle basic administrative tasks, and support promotions. Ideal candidates are punctual self-starters who love fitness, enjoy engaging with people, and are motivated by goals and performance incentives.

Responsibilities

• Open the club, prepare front desk, and ensure facilities are member-ready each morning
• Greet and check in members, answer questions, and provide a friendly first impression
• Conduct tours highlighting equipment, classes, and amenities to prospective members
• Explain membership options, pricing, and promotions; close new membership sales
• Perform outbound outreach to leads and follow up with prospects to schedule visits
• Support member account setup, changes, and basic billing or administrative tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in front desk and member areas
• Collaborate with team to meet daily and monthly sales and service goals
• Promote group classes, personal training, and other club services
• Uphold company policies, professionalism, and a positive, motivational environment
