West Haven Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate and dependable Transportation Aide to become part of our care-giving team. The Transportation Aide will interact directly with residents, providing safe transportation, comfort, and assistance while supporting daily facility operations. We are searching for a dedicated, energetic individual to be a vital link between our residents, nursing staff, families, and other facility departments.
CNA needed for appointment from 2p-7p Tuesday,Thrusday, Saturday
Responsibilities Include:Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and facility-related trips
Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles safely
Ensure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices are properly secured
Provide comfort, support, and excellent customer service to residents during transport
Communicate with nursing staff regarding resident appointments and transportation needs
Maintain transportation schedules and trip documentation
Keep transportation vehicles clean, organized, and fueled
Follow all facility safety policies, infection control standards, and traffic regulations
Report any vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Maintain resident dignity, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
Assist with other resident support duties as assigned by leadership
