Film R&D Lab Technician
Support the R&D team (prototype formulation, preparation, & characterization) evaluation and testing of raw materials, prototypes, & production samples, document management, research and modification of computer data, etc.);
Support Commercial (sales) and Product Strategy Management sample requests & shipping;
Manage the raw materials required in the laboratory for the production of prototypes;
Manage consumables, labware and laboratory equipment;
Support the quality control and operations teams;
Respect the company's policies/instructions related to the quality system in place (HACCP / SQF). Performs all other related tasks.
College degree in food sciences (chemistry or other);
Relevant experience in the food or chemical industry is an asset;
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices in the food industry is an asset;
Good knowledge of English (spoken/written);
Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, laboratory standards;
Computer skills (Windows Office applications; knowledge of SAP is an asset.
Good interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit;
Excellent organizational skills, precision and attention to detail with good speed of execution;
Able to manage priorities and stress;
