Position: Registered Nurse-Outpatient (Perioperative) - Intermittent
This position is in Nursing Service, Perioperative Department (Ambulatory Treatment Unit/Pain Procedures/Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology) at the VA Connecticut Healthcare Systems, located in West Haven, CT. This position is Intermittent.

The Specialty Care Outpatient Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based specialty care to assigned patients and oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants, as appropriate to the clinic setting. The RN provides patient care, care coordination, health promotion, health education and coaching on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic management. The RN will assist in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization.

Duties include but are not limited to:
