* ** 23.00/hour** , depending on experience

** Position Summary*
* Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a detail-oriented  
** Laboratory Sample Preparation Technician
** to support Research & Development and Product Development activities. In this role, you will prepare laboratory samples and pilot batches, coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams, and help ensure customer samples are produced accurately and on schedule.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or laboratory professionals looking to gain experience within the food, nutrition, or consumer products industry.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Prepare laboratory blends, customer samples, and pilot batches according to established formulations and specifications.

+ Accurately weigh, calculate, and mix nutritional ingredients using laboratory equipment.

+ Coordinate with Procurement to obtain new raw material samples for product development activities.

+ Submit samples to the Quality Control laboratory for required testing.

+ Partner with Quality Assurance to obtain supporting documentation for customer samples.

+ Coordinate with Manufacturing to request existing raw materials needed for sample preparation.

+ Verify that all prepared samples meet customer specifications and quality requirements.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready laboratory environment.

+ Accurately document laboratory activities and maintain organized records.

+ Support scientists with day-to-day laboratory operations and product development projects.

+ Perform additional laboratory and operational duties as assigned.

** Required Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, Biochemistry, or another related Life Sciences discipline  
** preferred** .

+ Equivalent laboratory, manufacturing, or product development experience will also be considered.

+ Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations and measurements.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Previous laboratory, food manufacturing, R&D, or quality experience.

+ Experience weighing, blending, or mixing ingredients using laboratory scales and equipment.

+ Familiarity with GMP, food safety, or laboratory best practices is a plus.

+ Experience supporting scientists, product development, or pilot plant activities is desirable.

** Physical Requirements*
* + Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

+ Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.

+ Ability to perform repetitive weighing, mixing, and sample preparation tasks.

+ Comfortable working around food ingredients, powders, and laboratory equipment while following all required safety procedures.

** Pay Details:**  $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
