Honeyplate is growing—and we’re looking for a skilled Sous Chef to support our kitchen operations as we continue crafting high-quality, scratch-made meals for busy lives.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, values precision and flavor, and believes that food should feel as good as it tastes. You’ll work side-by-side with our Executive Chef and culinary team to prep, cook, and package meals that nourish both body and spirit.

What You’ll Do:

Assist in the prep and production of weekly rotating menus

Help manage cooking stations and ensure smooth kitchen flow

Execute batch cooking with consistency and care

Uphold high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and guide team members when needed

Jump in wherever needed—this is a team-first kitchen

What We’re Looking For:

2–3+ years experience in a professional kitchen

Strong cooking fundamentals, especially with proteins, grains, and seasonal veg

Attention to detail and timing

Respect for efficiency, cleanliness, and proper food handling

Reliable, communicative, and ready to grow

Experience with prep kitchens, catering, or high-volume production is a plus

A passion for good food and good people
