Garage Door Installer

We're seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and skilled professional to be our next garage door installer. You will be responsible for visiting homes and businesses, measuring and installing a variety of garage doors and operators per manufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate will be able to install, troubleshoot, and finish trim work. We need someone who makes it a priority to provide excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Transport, lift, and/or maneuver heavy objects overhead with the assistance of others as necessary
• Read instruction manuals for all products installed in a service environment before attempting to install
• Follow all applicable policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures
• Enter completed projects and the parts used into database
• Instruct buyers on the best ways to use and maintain their garage door systems

Qualifications

• High level of proficiency in math, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Preferred qualifications include previous work experience in construction, maintenance, or a related industry
• Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication, and providing exceptional service to customers
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean traffic record

Compensation $65,000 - $75,000 About J.A.G. & Sons Overhead Door
