Certified Experienced HVAC Technician; Installation & Service in West Haven

Job Description

Home Efficient is a small family‑owned HVAC looking for a skilled installer.

• Excellent driving record; experience driving passenger van or larger vehicle.
• In‑person sales using pre‑designed presentation; maintain excellent rapport with customers.
• Ability to size customers' needs authoritatively and recommend pricing from a price book.
• Ability to travel to customer addresses and log time through mobile software.
• Excellent and reliable communication (SMS/Text, Email, Phone, Chat).
• Ability to complete all assigned tasks without dropping items; organize work plans and raise obstacles to management before they become customer‑facing issues.
• Experience installing mini‑splits, split AC/Furnace systems, heat pumps.
• Ability to diagnose no‑start or short‑stroke comfort system failures.
• Experience servicing residential and possibly commercial HVAC systems.
• Background check and drug screening clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and repeatedly arrive at work promptly.
• Strong people skills and business/personal ethics.
• EPA 608 Certified.
• NATE Certified or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of relevant building codes.

• Installation, repair, and replacement of heating and cooling systems.
• Create customer quotes and assist with the sales process when necessary.
• Collect payments on completed work.
• Friendly communication with clients.
• Travel to job sites.
• HVAC‑related work at HQ.
• Order equipment.
