Automotive Diagnostic Technician

Pro Fleet Solutions Inc seeks an Automotive Diagnostic Technician to support trucking fleets with advanced troubleshooting and repair. In this on-site role, you will use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex issues in diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and aftertreatment components. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and detailed digital documentation while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel trucks and trailers using OEM and aftermarket scan tools
• Troubleshoot electrical, engine, brake, and aftertreatment systems to root cause
• Complete accurate digital inspection reports and repair documentation
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime for fleet clients
• Collaborate with service advisors and clients to explain findings and repair options
• Follow all safety, DOT, and environmental regulations and company standards
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and proposing solutions
• Participate in ongoing training on new diagnostic tools and truck technologies
