Job Type: Full-Time, Full School Year contract

Caseload: K-12 grade - Conducting Evaluations:
Initials, re-evals, annuals, FBAs and BIPs

Location:

West Haven, CT

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students in need of support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to improve student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
• Connect families with community resources and support services
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Support attendance improvement and behavioral intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Valid state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
• Connecticut Certification in Social Work (071)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
