Overview

Parts Authority is a national distributor of automotive replacement parts seeking a full‑time Delivery Driver with opportunities for advancement.

The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off automotive parts, ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, satisfying customers, and maintaining safety.

To succeed you should be polite, prompt, ready to work as part of a delivery team, and committed to an excellent customer experience.

• Load, transport and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, correct charges, and customer satisfaction.
• Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes and time schedules, use navigation apps, and utilize alternative routes as necessary.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with operations at customers’ place of business.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports including invoices, return forms, reconcile debt and credit, and manage all money collected related to deliveries.
• When applicable, complete daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicle and notify manager of any issues.
• Assist in store/warehouse duties (stock, parts pulling, etc.) as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Meet company insurance requirements (drivers 21 years old or over).
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds. Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Manage, track and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
• Utilize tablet/mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking and customer interface/signature capture.
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills; professional, tactful, diplomatic.
• Take and follow directions; work well with others as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime as needed (preferred).
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
