Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout.

Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and overall project plans.

Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure alignment on scope and expectations.

Lead procurement efforts, including subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and material purchasing.

Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.

Monitor project costs, track progress, and forecast financial performance.

Support the superintendent with field coordination, logistics planning, and schedule updates.

Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with contract requirements, building codes, and company standards.

Manage communication with clients, providing updates on schedule, budget, and key milestones.

Oversee project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and closeout packages.

Resolve project issues proactively to avoid delays or cost impacts.

Lead punch list, commissioning, and turnover activities to ensure a successful project completion.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.

Strong understanding of commercial building systems, codes, and construction methods.

Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.

Proficient with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).

Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams.

Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.

Ability to identify and resolve project issues proactively.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
