Orthodontic Assistant

We are seeking ahighly skilled and experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-focused practice. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while supporting efficient clinical workflows.

• Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures and treatment appointments
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
• Take digital radiographs, photos, and scans as needed
• Perform bracket placement assistance, wire changes, banding, debonding, and adjustments within scope
• Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and treatment documentation
• Ensure sterilization and infection control protocols are consistently followed
• Coordinate with front office and clinical teams to maintain smooth patient flow

• Minimum2+ years of orthodontic assisting experience required
• Current dental/orthodontic assisting certification as required by state law
• Experience with digital scanning and orthodontic software preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment
