Job Description

A position has been declared open in the Weber School District at South Ogden Jr High School for an Assistant Coach. This position is for miscellaneous hours and miscellaneous pay per athletic season. This position is at-will.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with students, community and peers and promote a positive manner in bringing all these groups together.
• Secondary coaching experience is desired.
• Ability to motivate and inspire kids to be academic athletes and to teach them fundamental skills.
• All conditions being equal, a certified employee of the District or an individual who has passed the State Athletic Certification program will be given priority.
• Individuals must complete a background check prior to starting to coach. Varsity or collegiatelevel experience preferred.
