Overview
Data and fiber installation tech responsible for running a small crew to install, terminate and test data, coax and fiber for new and existing construction sites.
Responsibilities- Manage a small team of technicians to ensure installations are completed to satisfaction, manage crew assignments or work as a team to complete installs.
- Enforce and promote safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain communications with project managers, clients and team members.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and project progress.
- Must have an understanding of low voltage data and fiber optic systems including cabling, termination and testing equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, use small hand tools and tools associated with the industry.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Able to manage projects and crew.
- Job would involve driving a company van. A clean driver's license and background check is a must.
