Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to support day‑to‑day bookkeeping and accounts payable functions across multiple entities. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role based in our West Hempstead office and is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who is comfortable working in a multi‑entity environment.

• Process and enter invoices using proper bookkeeping and accounting codes
• Manage accounts payable functions, including preparing and cutting checks as needed
• Perform bank reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Update and track daily cash activity
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Support accounts payable operations across multiple entities (up to seven over time)
• Utilize Quick Books for transaction entry and reporting
• Collaborate with internal finance and operations teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Comfortable supporting multiple entities (starting with two, expanding to seven)

• Previous accounts payable or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Experience with Quick Books required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing, multi‑entity environment
• Experience in behavioral health, hospital, or healthcare settings is a strong plus
