Position SummaryAn independent entertainment company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong Accounts Payable background and advanced Net Suite expertise to support a critical finance systems initiative. This role will oversee AP operations while serving as the internal Net Suite expert, partnering with finance leadership to optimize processes, enhance system functionality, and drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day Accounts Payable operations while providing leadership and support to the accounting team.
- Serve as the internal Net Suite subject matter expert, leading system optimization, enhancements, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
- Partner with finance leadership, cross-functional teams, and implementation partners to ensure Net Suite is configured to meet business needs and maximize operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline AP workflows, reporting, custom fields, and system functionality through Net Suite.
- Support general accounting activities and contribute to cross-functional finance initiatives as needed.
- 2+ years of payroll experience
, preferably within a mid-sized corporate environment. - Required: Hands-on experience processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now
. - Strong knowledge of payroll reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience supporting payroll system implementations, transitions, or process improvement initiatives is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
, including the ability to analyze large datasets and generate payroll reports.
