Project Engineer, Construction Manager​/ Foreman

I'm partnering with a growing multifamily general contractor that is looking to add a Project Engineer to support their active portfolio of wood-frame and podium projects throughout Los Angeles. My client specializes in the construction of 30 to 60-unit multifamily developments, primarily Type III and Type V wood-frame over podium and subterranean parking structures, and is seeking someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction management.

Project Engineer - Multifamily Construction

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent through all phases of construction.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
• Track procurement and material deliveries.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and ownership teams.
• Assist with project schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reporting.
• Help manage inspections, permit requirements, and closeout documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and support cost tracking efforts.
• Participate in field walks and coordinate between office and site operations.

• 1-5 years of experience in construction as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or related role.
• Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, podium, or wood-frame construction is highly preferred.
• Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation.
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
