We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Associate Preschool Teacher to join our West Hollywood Preschool team!

• $22.00/hour + DOE
• $500 BONUS after 4 months of employment!
• Full-time & Part-time positions available 40,30, 25, or 20 hours per week
• Substitute positions also available

As an Associate Preschool Teacher, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive.

You will:

• Assist in planning, implementing, and facilitating a developmentally appropriate, full-inclusion program for young children.
• Support children's individual learning and developmental needs.
• Apply your knowledge of child development theory and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Work with children of all abilities, including children with disabilities and/or special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide a positive early learning experience

We'd love to meet you if you have:

• 12 units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• At least 1 year of experience working with young children in a childcare setting
• Knowledge of child development theory and developmentally appropriate practices
• Experience working with children with disabilities and/or special needs
• A current Associate Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing

Before classroom assignment, candidates must have/complete:

• Fingerprint clearance/Department of Justice #
• Current health report, including a negative TB test
• Proof of required immunizations:
  Tdap, MMR, and Flu Vaccine
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the preschool facility in West Hollywood
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer

• 10 sick days per year
• 10 vacation days per year - Accrual increase schedule
• 11 paid holidays
• 1 floating holiday
• 18 paid hours of early release
