What This Role Will Do- Works directly with the Director of Operations to perform day of show duties
- Respond to elevated staff/guest inquiries or concerns regarding VIP lounge reservations
- Address guest concerns and complaints related to security and customer service
- Follow up with Concessionaire AGM and Director of Operations to ensure service standards are met
- Perform opening, running, and closing duties according to Live Nation policy
- Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through the work area and reporting issues
- Supervise Operations staff and ensure mandated rest and meal breaks
- Suggestive selling of venue products and services when applicable
- Keep current on Standard Operating Procedures and communicate them to the team
- Create pre-shift sheet and relay information from management to staff
- Turn in all lost and found articles to Guest Services
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per training and policies
- Maintain proper line of sight and security of Back of House areas
- Communicate issues to the Manager on Duty (M.O.D.) and work with MOD to resolve guest issues
- Complete incident reports and collect witness statements; assist MOD with ejection logs and Vinyl Room paperwork
- Work Special Events scheduled throughout the venue
- Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
- Food Safe Certification
- Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations, responsible alcohol service and guest relations
- Skills in guest relations/staff relations and anticipating special needs of guests
- Prioritization of duties and effective communication
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with an upbeat attitude
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to read guests and anticipate their needs; turn negative situations into positives
- Clear communication with team members and managers to foster unity and camaraderie
- High School Diploma required
- Experience in a live music environment (2+ years)
- Restaurant experience (2+ years)
- College diploma in a related field
- Seven Rooms or other reservation system knowledge
- Fast-paced, often loud and stressful environment
- Extended periods of standing and being on your feet
- Ability to lift or move up to 40 lbs with proper lifting techniques
