In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Social Media and Influencer Marketing and assist with strategy and execution of Hourglass' current and growing influencer marketing program. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building strategies and creative concepts, identifying and engaging influencers, managing outreach programs, and creating engaging, brand worthy content.
You should have a deep-rooted interest in beauty and lifestyle with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced culture. Success in this role requires a well-rounded knowledge of the influencer and social media landscape, both paid and earned. Moreover, you are data-driven and can transform numbers into stories, on which you will base your strategic decisions.
Experience in community building programs is key, and strong cross-functional communication skills is a must; both verbally and written.
WHAT YOU DO:
- Develop influencer campaign strategies for both paid and earned: from creative concept to influencer selection - all based on data, insights and trends
- Execute influencer campaigns: influencer outreach, negotiation, briefing, contracting, content review
- Lead on talent discovery, building and maintaining influencer relationships within various verticals for earned and paid executions.
- Support global mailer program
- Build and manage community events
- Analyze and report the effectiveness of programs and competitive analysis for key stakeholders utilizing social listening tools such as Creator IQ, Tribe, Traackr, etc.
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining the influencer database to ensure it is up to date
- Responsible for tracking product orders and sends to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are kept
- Partner with Social, Paid Media and PR teams to build synergies between our programs
- Manage the affiliate marketing program in partnership with the Digital and eCommerce teams
- Demonstrate ability to think both creatively and critically, willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo while demonstrating sound judgement in strategic decision making.
- Highly adaptable and able to adjust to changing demands and shifting priorities while coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously
- Energetic self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills to formulate and articulate value points to internal & external teams
- Strong attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open minded, persistent and highly collaborative, with a passion for and understanding of the influencer/social space and the ability to quickly learn about new technologies and platforms
- Demonstrates ability to think both creatively and critically; willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo while demonstrating sound judgment in strategic decision-making
