Travel ICU Float Pool Registered Nurse - $2,036 per week

Overview

TNAA Total Med RN seeks a travel nurse RN for a Critical Care Float position in West Hollywood, CA. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Document and provide physician-directed care, assessing and implementing patient care plans.
• Delegate to other care providers as appropriate.
• Provide education and support to patient families.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work, and interpret reports.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
• Communicate patient conditions to family members.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certification (minimum 2 years). Additional certifications may be required.
