Unarmed Security Officer, West Hollywood (Special Event Coverage)
Location:
West Hollywood, CA
Pay Rate: $20–$22/hr DOE
Schedule:
June 5th, 6th, and 7th (Various shifts available, including day, evening, and overnight)
Start Date:
June 5, 2026
Treston Security Services is hiring professional and reliable Unarmed Security Officers for a large-scale special event in West Hollywood. Officers will play a key role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all attendees. Responsibilities include access control, crowd management, and general event safety support throughout the duration of the event.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated perimeter areas
- Conduct bag checks and visual screenings (if required by post orders)
- Assist with crowd flow management and maintain orderly event operations
- Provide directions and customer service to attendees in a friendly, professional manner
- Identify, report, and document incidents or suspicious activity in real time
- Maintain a visible presence to deter disturbances and promote safety
- Work collaboratively with event staff, local authorities, and fellow officers
- Valid California Guard Card (REQUIRED)
- Previous event security, crowd control, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (8–12 hour shifts)
- Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong communication, de‑escalation, and conflict resolution skills
- Must maintain a clean, professional appearance (uniform guidelines provided)
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to commit to scheduled event dates
- Must have access to a smartphone for communication and incident reporting
- Comfortable working in large, high-energy public environments
- Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive environment for all attendees
