Security Officer Part Time Patrol Rider –
West Hollywood, CA

Part‑time unarmed patrol officer serving a dynamic municipal location. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour

• Monday: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM
• Friday: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or local first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public‑facing buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity to help support authorized entry, provide directions, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Support daily operations at the location by completing incident reports, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and assisting with crowd and/or pedestrian monitoring during routine activity or special events.

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
