Job Details

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support as necessary with duties including calendar scheduling, meeting organization, attends and records minutes at department leadership meetings, typing reports as requested, opening and distributing mail, submits payroll for senior staff and administration support staff, prepares check requests for Administration-related expenses, etc.

Responsibilities:

* Answers phones in a timely, professional manner, and relays messages to appropriate personnel.

* Oversees schedules for the department management.

* Coordinates catering events for outside departments.

* Performs typing, copying, filing, faxing, and mailing of correspondence.

* Maintains the department policy and procedure binder.

* Maintains the intranet webpages.

* Assists in coordination of projects as assigned.

* Prepares check requests and purchase orders for invoices and reimbursements.

* Responsible for placing work orders upon request.

* Creates and maintains department forms.

* Assists in budget preparation and tracking.

* Prepares and maintains various reports & spreadsheets with employee, equipment, and financial information.

* Assists in the setup of newly hired employees.

* Collects, reviews, and submits payroll.

Requirements:

* High School diploma, equivalent or relative experience.

* Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills required

* Ability to multi-task

* Proficiency in MS office required

* Typing at least 30 wpm preferred

Salary Range

USD $22.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
