Our established construction firm has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commercial construction project management, be organized, motivated, and detail‑oriented. • Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents for spec section 08700, 08800
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Communicates with trade partners and team members regarding the cost of new and current projects
• Ensures timely completion of estimates
• Understands scope of work to bid
• Manages bid pricing from vendors
• Prepares cost analysis
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

• 3+ years’ experience in construction estimating
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Applied Science, Civil Engineering or related field a plus
• Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Able to multi‑task and meet strict deadlines
