General Dentist Opportunity – West Islip, NY

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused General Dentist to join our established dental practice in West Islip, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking to work alongside an experienced team in a modern, technology-driven environment while building lasting patient relationships and delivering high-quality care.

Schedule

Preferred Schedule:

  • Monday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Flexible scheduling options are available, including every-other Saturday arrangements for the right candidate.

Practice Highlights
  • 8 Operatory Practice
  • Modern Technology Including:
  • Digital Panoramic Imaging (PANO)
  • iTero Digital Scanner
  • Collaborative clinical team with:
  • 1–2 Dentists scheduled daily
  • 2–3 Registered Dental Hygienists
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
  • Deliver high-quality restorative and preventive dental care.
  • Educate patients on treatment options and oral health best practices.
  • Foster a positive patient experience through compassionate and ethical care.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical team members to support practice growth and operational excellence.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, mentorship, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Active New York dental license in good standing.
  • 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; select opportunities may be available for strong new graduates.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
  • Interest in continuing education and professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to contribute to a collaborative and growth-oriented practice environment.
