The Lead Central Receiving Coordinator performs duties of the Central Receiving Coordinator while offering direction, supervision and guidance to the Central Receiving Department.
Responsibilities- The Lead Central Receiving Coordinator maintains and coordinates registration
- Accessioning, handling and grossing preparation of surgical specimens and laboratory inquiries
- Coordinates specimen collection and processing for the hospital
- Acts as a resource for hospital personnel regarding specimen procurement, testing resulting and problem solving
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in all phases of Central Receiving
- Prior experience in hospital environment preferred
USD $25.98 - $29.97 /hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
