Job Details

The QM Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Quality Management leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Provide education and guidance to facility-wide, multidisciplinary staff; collect clinical data; assist with quality activities in compliance with regulations and organizational goals.
  • Create strategies for compliance with New York State Department of Health, Joint Commission, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements.
  • Data abstraction, presentation, and accountability for goal achievement.
Requirements
  • RN with current NYS license required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field required.
  • Master's degree and CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience required. Performance Improvement and Quality Management experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • Problem‑solving ability, creativity, and effective communication skills a must. Data analytical skills required. Must have the ability to motivate, plan, organize and direct activities of others.
  • BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only American Heart Association.
Salary Range

USD $60.21 - USD $71.98 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
