Research Coordinator

The Research Coordinator supports nursing research and evidence-based practice by coordinating research studies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with investigators and interdisciplinary teams. This role facilitates the successful implementation of research projects and serves as a resource for nursing staff and clinical teams.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate clinical and nursing research studies from initiation through closeout, collaborating with principal investigators and interdisciplinary teams.
* Prepare, maintain, and submit research documentation, including regulatory files, IRB submissions, study records, and audit materials while ensuring compliance with institutional, IRB, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
* Support evidence-based practice initiatives through research coordination, data collection and analysis, educational programs, and dissemination of research findings.
* Serve as a resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams regarding research processes, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practice.
* Coordinate research-related meetings, conferences, and departmental initiatives while collaborating with internal and external partners to support study implementation.
* Participate in interdisciplinary committees, represent the department on assigned projects, and support process improvements to enhance research operations.
* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
* Masters in Nursing required, DNP preferred.
* Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
* Minimum of three (3) years of clinical or nursing research experience required; experience with IRB submissions, regulatory compliance, and evidence-based practice preferred.
* CCRP or CCRA certification preferred.
* Working knowledge of clinical research regulations, IRB processes, FDA requirements, and other regulatory requirements.
* Strong organizational, analytical, project coordination, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Salary Range
USD $58.00 - USD $78.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
