Construction Project Manager; PERM

Overview

Five Point Construction dba Five Point Restoration in West Jordan, Utah seeks for a full-time Construction Project Manager.

• Scheduling and performing site inspections of damaged properties, including commercial and residential properties damaged by fire, wind, water, natural disaster, and building flaws.
• Gathering, documenting, and evaluating data to correctly diagnose the cause of the damage.
• Creating detailed cause documentation for clientele including insurance personnel, local government officials, property management and owners.
• Utilizing industry standard procedures to identify the severity of the damage.
• Assembling measurements, diagrams, photographs, and sample materials into standardized reports.
• Utilizing effective techniques to gain confidence with the customer and assure them that the necessary technical knowledge and ability are possessed to complete their project.
• Assembling reports such as blueprints, structural engineering reports, foundation engineering reports, and soils reports and ensuring each is correct and adheres to current building codes.
• Producing detailed recommendations in a standardized report for property restoration based on blueprints, current building codes, material properties, and structural engineering reports within a precise time frame.
• Preparing detailed budgets in a standardized report for each project and submitting budgets to customers, insurance personnel, and team members at Five Point Restoration.
• Applying proper technical writing, mathematical, and computational methods. Proficiency in computer programs such as Xactimate, Xactanalysis, Dash, and Office Suite is required.
• Drafting precise time frames for delivery of reports and adhering to them.
• Effectively scheduling time and managing stress related to project management.
• Presenting recommendations and estimates to customers and resolving any concerns to obtain a signed contract for the project to move forward. Directs the implementation of detailed reports prescribing best practices for restoration of properties.
• Ensuring that the appropriate materials and methodology are used in the restoration of property; regular site inspections are performed to verify requirements are met.
• Managing customer expectations to meet or exceed quality of workmanship, time frames, and staff friendliness.
• Ensuring the restoration process adheres to the prepared budget.
• During the implementation phase, effectively managing schedules and workloads of various crews and subcontractors to minimize downtime on the project.
• Performs a final site inspection with the customer or property manager to ensure all work is completed to the satisfaction of all parties and obtain sign-off.

• Bachelor's in Construction Management/Business Management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of computer programs such as Xactimate, Xactanalysis, Dash, and Office Suite.

Salary: $77,170-$78,000 per year.

Hours:

8:00am - 5:00pm, off Saturday and Sunday.
