Special Education Teacher - Severe

Responsibilities

• Autism & Special Ed Knowledge:
  Understanding of evidence‑based practices for students with ASD, including visual schedules, sensory supports, and differentiated instruction.
• IEP & Data Management:
  Ability to write, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) using daily academic and behavioral data.
• Behavior Support:
  Skilled in behavior modification, implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and utilizing crisis de‑escalation techniques.
• Team Leadership:
  Ability to effectively direct, train, and manage classroom Instructional Assistants to ensure team consistency.

• Required:
  
  Utah Special Education License with Endorsements.

• Medical (three plans, two networks) and Employee Assistance Program.
• Voluntary Dental.
• Voluntary Vision.
• Basic Life / Accidental Death and Dismemberment $50,000.
• Supplementary Life and AD&D.
• Long Term Disability.
