Position: Fully onsite Structural Engineer in Ogden, UT

Structural Engineer (Senior‑Level)

Location:

Ogden, UT 84401 US (Primary). 100% Onsite. Full-time. Pay range: $ - $/yr. # of Hires Needed: 2.

Required Skills, Experience, and

Education:

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ‑compliant driver's license or state‑issued identification card at the time of hire. If you are unsure whether your  Real ‑compliant, please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your driver's license or state .
  • Ability to complete a pre‑employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, Visio, and other common computer applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively use office automation tools.
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards, as well as Bechtel Corporate guides and standards.
  • Broad knowledge of structural engineering design principles.
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 12 or more years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of related experience.

Desired Skills, Experience, and

Education:

  • Active security clearance.
  • MS degree in Structural or related Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Experience designing seismic bracing and supports.
  • Experience executing engineering and design work using Revit.
  • Familiarity with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide.
  • Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense.
  • Experience working under quality assurance programs such as ASME‑NQA‑1, MIL‑Q‑9858A, or ISO‑9000.
