SummaryReporting to the Billing & Collections Manager, the primary account manager will serve as the main point of contact for a range of accounts receivable (AR) tasks. Responsibilities include resolving client communications about billing and collections inquiries, addressing internal requests, and managing all vendor onboarding and third‑party platform management. The role demands strict adherence to SLA standards with prompt and accurate communication, ensuring timely escalation of cases that cannot be resolved in real time.
The ideal candidate will support client outreach, communicate across internal teams, and drive career progression as the company expands.
Note: Candidates must be able to work in the 2:00 pm–11:00 pm IST shift (NY/EST hours) and immediate joiners are preferred.
Qualifications- BCOM / MCOM / BBA / MBA in Finance preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in O2C collections, revenue recognition & reconciliation, and email queue or case management.
- Experience with Salesforce and Net Suite is preferred.
- Primary skills: excellent written and verbal communication, data management, customer service, billing and collections experience, problem solving, and multitasking.
- Secondary skills: time management, case ownership, Excel and G‑suite proficiency.
- Email Queue Management: Maintain the Billing & Collections email queue within a 24‑business‑hour SLA; serve as the primary point of contact for new email threads, ensuring routine questions and vendor onboarding requests are addressed promptly or escalated internally. Assign existing threads and connect them to the appropriate AR Lead or Biller. Key tasks include:
- Complete banking forms and provide financial documents such as W‑9s, tax certificates, etc.; manage escalation cases until the required information is supplied.
- Resubmit invoices via the billing system by email or vendor portal if clients supply updated billing information post‑sale/renewal.
- Respond to urgent escalation requests and flag the appropriate party for support.
- Ensure all open cases are managed and actioned in a timely manner after assignment.
- Vendor Onboarding: Own vendor onboarding processes for Alpha Sense and its clients, including:
- Review, validate, and maintain vendor records, legal names, tax IDs, addresses, and contact information.
- Provide documents such as W‑9, 10F, NO‑PE certificates, banking information, COI, TRC, etc.
- Accurately create vendors in procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, Ramp, Wise, and other client portals in various regions).
- Perform high‑importance confirmations including bank verification and TIN validation.
- Hands‑on experience in Net Suite and Salesforce.
- Contract Review: Review contracts and SFDC data, audit sales orders and invoices within the billing system, and ensure deliveries meet client requirements. Confirm compliance with company policies and procedures. Resolve simple billing issues without external escalation and flag cases for audit by the biller or management team per protocol.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in AR, O2C, and collections process as a biller, collections specialist, or queue management specialist.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel desired.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail to prevent overlooked emails or cases.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills; ability to interact across time zones and non‑local offices.
- Experience with Maxio, Net Suite, Sage Intacct and Salesforce preferred.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, deadline‑oriented, fast learner; organized, dedicated, flexible team player with excellent problem‑solving skills. Comfortable in an unstructured, dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Extended hours required during peak business periods—financial close, audit periods, and as directed by management.
