Job Overview
The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Principal / Cybersecurity Analyst to support information systems lifecycle activities. This role is based on‑site full‑time at our Roy, Utah location.

Responsibilities- Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring activities covering all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate the security posture of information systems.
- Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
- Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and recommend additional requirements and safeguards.
- Assist in the implementation of required government policies, make recommendations on process tailoring, participate in, and document process activities.
- Establish program control processes to mitigate risks and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.
- Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by government accrediting authorities through pre‑test preparations, participation, analysis of results, and report preparation.
- Document the results of A&A activities and technical or coordination activities, and prepare the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.

Basic Qualifications- Level 2:
- Master’s Degree with 0 years of experience; OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience; OR
• Associate’s Degree with 4 years of experience; OR
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of experience.
- Master’s Degree with 0 years of experience; OR
- Level 3:
- Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience; OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience; OR
• Associate’s Degree with 6 years of experience; OR
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8 years of experience.
- Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience; OR
- Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a Cybersecurity (722) certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
- Must hold a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (minimum), with closed investigation completed within the last 6 years, or be enrolled in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
- Experience in cybersecurity compliance (e.g., Assessment & Authorization under RMF).
- Knowledge of security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and documentation such as NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&M, and SCTMs.
