WorkSchedule
Days/nights vary, including weekends. Shift availability varies; please list any shifts you can work. We are looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities- Lead a team in a complex, task‑oriented janitorial operation environment.
- Provide direct support to the Maintenance Operations Center Team and KBS Field Operations Team by responding efficiently, timely and accurately to all escalations.
- Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, breakrooms and other working areas as needed.
- Follow the Janitorial Supervisor Task Process Flowchart.
- Support callouts by working directly or splitting up shifts among the team and shift lead to cover daily operation schedules.
- Deliver feedback on ongoing activities and commit to timely escalation reporting procedures to the KBS Management Team.
- Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environments strongly preferred.
- 4+ years in a lead/supervisory role.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and chemical safety data sheets (generally in English; may be in Spanish where required).
- Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
- Customer‑service oriented, friendly and positive demeanor that can motivate team members and support customer requests in an orderly and timely manner.
- Must successfully pass KBS background check and drug test.
- Utilize the KBSPresence mobile time‑keeping software to accurately record hours, attendance, required training and receivables. All non‑exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on a personal device to clock in/out for shifts and breaks. Local laws permit a cell‑phone reimbursement to support personal‑device use for work‑related tasks.
