Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Overview

Equipment Maintenance Specialist – Level B & C – for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). Positions located in West Jordan, Utah and Salt Lake City, Utah.

• Perform maintenance on factory equipment.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, inspect, disassemble, rebuild, modify, and test factory machinery and equipment using mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge.
• Use and interpret advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.
• Respond to requests for equipment repair.
• Maintain and manage component and replacement part inventories.
• Work under limited supervision.

• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (blueprints/schematics).
• 1+ year experience using electrical test equipment and precision measurement tools.

• 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and operating PLCs.
• 3+ years of experience working with digital volt meters, oscilloscopes, AC/DC power supplies, frequency generators, and/or power meters.

Weekend shift (Friday to Sunday, 0500‑1730). Pay ranges:
Level B – $55,800–$68,200;
Level C – $65,700–$80,300. Total rewards include base pay, variable compensation, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off, with options varying by location and eligibility.
