Composite Fabrication Machine Operator

Team: Composite Fabrication Team (Boeing Commercial Airplanes – BCA)
Shift: Shift 1 or 2 (determined after interview)
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks
- Composite bagging and forming
- Composite drilling and bonding
- Tooling preparation
- Machine set up and operation
- Overhead crane operation
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level B: 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5‑S tools)
- Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data

Total Rewards: Summary pay range for Entry‑Level (Level
A): $44,100–53,900.
Summary pay range for Associate (Level
B): $52,200 – 63,800.
