Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at an accredited STEMI center, requiring a UT or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a single-lab Cardiac Cath Lab unit,

• Lab performs cardiac cath and intervention, interventional radiology (IR), and neuro thrombectomy procedures,

• Uses Philips imaging, Merge hemodynamics/CPACS, and Epic for charting,

• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM,

• On-call required every other weekend and a couple of evenings per week,

• 13-week assignment,

Job Requirements

• Active UT or Compact (NLC) RN license - must be active at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Current BLS certification required; pending certifications not accepted,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

• Driver's license required for consideration,

• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire,

• Candidates must permanently reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates,

Additional Information

• Perform nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac cath, interventional radiology, and neuro thrombectomy procedures in an accredited STEMI center,

• Orientation consists of 12 hours,

• RNs at this Arizona facility are required to pass the Relias Dysrhythmia exam before an offer can be confirmed,

• A pass/fail sterile technique test (Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes) is administered on the first day of orientation,

• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates placed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered,
