Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Active RN license in Utah (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• School-based nursing experience strongly preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
• Compassionate, calm, and patient demeanor when working with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer direct nursing care, including medication administration and first aid
• Develop and implement individual student healthcare plans
• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions in a school setting
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to ensure student safety
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Provide health education and wellness promotion to students and staff
• Serve as a trusted resource for medical concerns and infection control procedures
