Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a National Nurse Resident, you’ll step into a hands‑on, supportive experience designed to help you grow and build confidence from day one. You won’t be on your own. You can expect real mentorship, meaningful feedback, and a team invested in your long‑term success.
Every day, you’ll collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver care that sees each patient as an individual. You’ll administer treatments, track vitals, educate patients and families, and play a key role in making sure people feel seen, heard, and cared for.
To succeed in this role, you’ll actively engage in our comprehensive, evidence‑based Nurse Residency Program designed to support your growth and professional development. Responsibilities- Builds skills to utilize current evidence‑based practice knowledge, the nursing process, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills to provide holistic care to individuals across the lifespan and care continuum.
- Basic understanding of and ability to assess ailments and injuries of patients and implement a treatment plan.
- Learns to collaborate and communicate with the interprofessional team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Basic understanding of and ability to provide clinical skills necessary for patient care, history taking, therapeutic planning, and monitoring, etc., to achieve optimized outcomes in medication therapy and clinical treatment.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of the risks faced by patients in a healthcare environment, and the ability to take steps to reduce these risks.
- Develops accountability for own practice, delegated care, and the coordination of care delivery. Behaves in a manner that supports colleagues, and maintains respect, trust, and dignity.

To be considered for this role, you must have graduated and be licensed prior to the October 26, 2026 start date. If you graduate after that date, or will not take your NCLEX in time, please consider applying for our Spring 2027 Cohort.
Job Requirements Required- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Active License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which s/he will be practicing or the state of primary residency if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- 0-12 months of professional nursing (RN) experience.
- BLS certification - American Heart Association.
- Ability to deliver excellence in patient care through assessing, forming nursing diagnoses and establishing goals, planning and implementing intervention, and evaluating patient care outcomes.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
