Food Safety & Brand Standards Specialist

Food Safety Specialists support our hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients by upholding brand standards, ensuring exceptional food quality, and delivering friendly, customer‑focused service to enhance the guest experience.

• Conduct assessments that measure conformity to regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards.
• Observe food prep and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and sanitation practices.
• Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans.
• Teach and coach clients to create safer, healthier environments for their employees and customers.
• Travel 50%-70% (8‑10 days per month), including evening and weekend work.

• Conduct audits and inspections.
• Implement and monitor food safety training and education for staff.
• Investigate food safety incidents.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain documentation and records.
• Influence others with tact and skill, delivering clear constructive feedback in a positive manner.
• Work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and fulfill a flexible schedule.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of food safety (preferred).

• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Strong knowledge of food safety (preferred).
• Serv Safe and/or CP‑FS certification(s) a plus.
• Excellent listening, organization, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Ability and desire to influence others with tact and skill.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and 8‑10 days per month of travel, some evenings and weekends.

• Must be available Monday‑Friday and Saturdays and evenings as needed.
• Licenses or certificates required by federal, state, or local regulations (covered by us).
• Meet the requirements to obtain a CP‑FS certification (preferred).
