Position Description

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay – Store Team Member. Lead an excellent customer and brand experience, promote sales, and maintain sales floor standards at 100 Utah Ave, San Francisco, CA 94080.

• Process all forms of payments at the point of sale (POS).
• Invite customers to make cash donations at POS.
• Determine prices of goods by consulting merchandise markings or assistance from a store leader.
• Complete closing procedures as required.
• Greet customers entering the store and thank those leaving.
• Maintain sales floor cleanliness, organization, and PPM (picture process map) standards.
• Stock merchandise in assigned areas.
• Use phone and paging systems to make scheduled announcements.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Model Goodwill Core Values – Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
• Proficiency in speaking and reading English.
