Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Assist our Retail Account team in all aspects of business, as needed.
- Professionally and accurately represent USB in all customer, consumer, and intercompany interactions.
- Enhance, strengthen, and develop current and new business relationships.
- Work with all USB sales divisions to communicate and implement sales strategies.
- Assist Retail Account team in the development and achievement of sales goals.
- Assist the Retail Account team in strategic execution of new product launches.
- Provide timely reports, manage events calendars, participate in sales meetings, etc.
- Partner with USB Sales and Bakery Operations to ensure industry leading product quality and services.
- Provide unsurpassed customer service, backed by integrity and follow-through.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years DSD experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Bakery industry, DSD operations, and accounts assigned.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Results oriented.
- Ability to exercise a high degree of judgment and make sound decisions in solving complex problems.
- Ability to work autonomously with little direct oversight.
- Ability to take direction, implement change, and apply learnings.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills that establish rapport quickly, build trust and credibility, and instill confidence. Possesses professional presence in interactions with all constituents.
- Strong strategic and tactical sense; must work well under tight deadlines.
- Travel is required and may be 30 to 40% of the time throughout the United States.
