Job Summary
Garda World Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to work in West Jordan, UT. The full‑time position is scheduled Saturday‑Wednesday (40 hours per week), 12:00a.m.–8:00a.m. (grave shift). The role requires patrolling and securing venues such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.
Responsibilities- Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
- Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
- React quickly to threats or incidents.
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
- Document incidents and actions taken.
- Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
- Must have at least 1 year of armed experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must provide documentation of a high‑school diploma or GED.
- Must successfully complete an extensive screening process.
- First aid certification is an asset.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus.
- Must possess a state licensing credential if required.
- Competitive hourly wage of $20.50.
