Overview

Lawn Doctor of East Salt Lake-Holladay-Cottonwood Heights co company Bonneville Sprinkling is seeking a reliable and motivated Sprinkler Technician to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial irrigation systems. This is a field-based position for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working outdoors. Technicians are expected to deliver high-quality service, communicate clearly with customers, and take pride in professional workmanship.

Pay is based on experience (DOE). Training is available for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic.

• Install new sprinkler and irrigation systems
• Diagnose and repair irrigation system problems
• Perform spring startups and system activations
• Complete fall blowouts and winterizations
• Repair sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, controllers, and wiring
• Program and troubleshoot irrigation timers/controllers
• Locate leaks and perform line repairs
• Adjust heads and zones for proper coverage
• Perform system efficiency checks
• Document work completed and materials used
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers
• Maintain clean and organized vehicle and tools
• Follow company safety and service standards

• Irrigation or sprinkler experience preferred
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
• Basic smartphone/tablet skills for job tracking
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong work ethic and professionalism
• Good customer communication skills

• Irrigation certification
• Landscape or plumbing experience
• Controller programming experience
• Field service or route experience

• Full-time
• Seasonal full-time available
• Monday–Friday with seasonal overtime
