HVAC Installer​/Technician

Overview

We are looking for a skilled HVAC technician to join our team, and help us continue to grow. INSTALLERS - Join us and get opportunities to advance your knowledge of technical diagnosis and repair! We need a team player who has professional skills and experience troubleshooting, servicing and repairing; heating, ventilation, air conditioning units, refrigerators and freezers.

• Driving to various work sites, Company Vehicle provided.
  
  --Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record (no violations within two years)
• Can complete most repairs independently
• Communicates clearly and kindly in person and in writing with customers and office staff.
• Services repairs & maintenance on all HVAC & Refrigeration equipment including reach-in coolers, freezers & walk-in coolers & freezers.
• Maintains appropriate logs and records for mechanical equipment & vehicles.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawing

• Stooping:
  Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
• Reaching:
  Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
• Mobility:
  The person in this position needs to move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Heavy Work:
  Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Climbing:
  Using hands and feet to pull one’s self upwards, such as using a ladder.
• Vision:
  Having close, far, and peripheral visual acuity to perform a variety of tasks such as make general observations of depth and distance.
• Individuals must comply with Finco's drug free workplace policy and will be subject to random screens. Finco policy requires pre-employment, post accident, and random drug screens.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of a two year State Certified HVAC program or a third year apprenticeship in a State HVAC program Or a total of 3 years of specific experience will be accepted in lieu of a State Certified program or apprenticeship.
• PREFERRED Two years of experience with installation, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment.
• PREFERRED Two years of experience in the maintenance and operation of commercial heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems and related equipment in large commercial, industrial, or governmental buildings or institutions.

• SPECIFICATIONS
• Full Time:
  Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, rotating on call weekends.
• Wage: 20-30 /hr depending on experience.
