Position provides basic landscape and snow removal services to all Weber State University campuses. The role can be filled at any level of the approved career ladder depending on applicant qualifications.
Required Qualifications- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- A valid Utah Driver License is a condition of employment.
- Must be able to operate power tools and equipment normally associated with landscape maintenance.
Seeking applicants with the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment normally associated with landscape maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair of irrigation systems.
- Basic knowledge of plant maintenance.
Background check required as a condition of employment.

Visual Acuity RequirementsRequired to have visual acuity for operating machines, skilled trade tasks, heavy equipment, and general observations of facilities or structures.
Environmental ConditionsThe worker will be subject to weather conditions without protection, extreme cold below 32 °F for more than an hour, extreme heat above 100 °F for more than an hour, noise requiring shouting, vibration, hazards such as moving vehicles or mechanical parts, chemical exposures, and confined spaces.
